SYDNEY, February, 19 2002 - Is the Aussie invasion of Hollywood set to continue at this year's Academy Awards? Will Russell pick up two in a row? Will Nicole take home her first golden statue? Now you can find out if your best guess is more than just goss, by having your say and voting on who you think will win the Oscars on March 25th. Yahoo! Australia & NZ Movies is hosting a pick the winners game, and is providing all the latest entertainment news, nomination lists, critics' picks, and reviews as part of its comprehensive Oscar coverage.

Film and celebrity lovers have the opportunity to predict who will take home the shiny golden bodies known as Oscars through the interactive tipping competition called the "Oscars Pool". In a celluloid take on footy tipping, fans can compete against friends, family, co-workers and others in the interactive game hosted by Yahoo! Australia & NZ.

Each player in the Yahoo! Australia & NZ Movies Oscar Pool, is given the opportunity to select the winners of the 23 main categories. For every correct answer, 100 points are added to the player's total score. The player with the largest number of points in each group is the winner.

"After Australia's great showing at the Golden Globe Awards, there's more interest locally than ever before. This Game gives everyone the chance to soak up the celebrity goss and trivia and add their two cents worth. It's a great opportunity for fans to play with like-minded people in an environment that celebrates light-hearted humour and fun."

In addition to deciphering who's set to take the golden statues, Yahoo! Australia & NZ encourages the more frivolous player to lend a hand picking the number of minutes the ceremony will run over time!
