Lady Boys andLady Boys and Ferrets return to Yahoo!7
Following popular acclaim last year, Yahoo!7 today announced the return of the “Lady Boy” and “Losing Lincoln” advertisements to promote its world-leading Yahoo! Mail product.
“Lady Boy” follows the plight of an Australian man who faces marital issues due to unexpected email spam. “Losing Lincoln” demonstrates how a full inbox can lead to an empty, lonely life.
The TVCs, which will run across Channel Seven and the Yahoo!7 network over the next month were created by Three Drunk Monkeys.
“The Yahoo!7 brand is all about being cheeky and fun and these ads show everyday Australians facing some life challenges as a result of having an inferior webmail product. We got such great feedback about this campaign from people both here in Australia, and internationally, that we thought it was too good to stay sitting in the top drawer. We hope Australians enjoy the ads and give Yahoo! Mail a go,” said Harry Burt, General Manager of Marketing, Yahoo!7.
